私の長年の友人であるKくんの誕生日をサプライズで祝うための企画デザイン。
共に企画した友人と話し合いを経て、彼のパーソナリティーを６つピックアップ。身近で彼をよく観察していた私が、彼のパーソナリティーに基づいた表情の似顔絵を制作した。そこから、６つのパーソナリティを表す言葉の頭文字をそれぞれ抽出してロゴデザインを製作し、アメニティグッズに展開をさせて彼にプレゼントした。

After discussions with my friend who planned the project with me, We picked up six of his personalities. Having observed him closely, I created portraits of his facial expressions based on his personalities. From there, I extracted the first letter of each word that represented the six personalities, created a logo design, and developed it into amenity goods that I presented to him.

Kくんのパーソナリティ
姉御肌：面倒見がよく、お世話好き。聞いたらなんでも答えてくれる歩くGoogle先生。責任感が強く真面目な為、リーダー気質もあるけれどちょっぴり優位に立ちたがりな面も？
乙女的 : トレンド情報、ゴシップネタ、少女漫画の新刊には飛びつく彼だが、時事問題にも目を向けているため、幅広い層と交流がある様子。お菓子作りはお手のもの。毎月バレンタインデーが開催される。
素直 : 素直になれない天邪鬼さと、嘘をつかない正直者の面を兼ね備えている。最終的には自分にも他人にも偽ろうとしない潔さがあるのだ。
野心家 :数字的、二元論的な世界を好む。一つ反論すると有無を言わさず百倍返し。そんな少々攻撃的なところもあるけれど、結果を出すことにとてもストイックだ。
厚意的 :キメ顔爽やかな印象でいつも写真には写るけれど、大笑いしている姿の方が素敵なのは秘密。刺々しい言動が目立つこともあるが、本当は根がとても優しい。困った人を見つけると手を矢差し伸べてくれる。
社交的 :知的好奇心が強く、異業種の人間との関わりに興味があるようだ。第一印象の良さで右に出るものはいない。周囲の様子を常に意識しているため、気配りがとっても上手。

当日、ディズニーランドへ行くことが誕生日の祝いだったことから記念カードを制作。
彼との付き合いはもう１５年近くになる。
当日はディズニーランドの中で友人と一緒にこのプレゼントを渡した。普段は嬉しくてもあんまり顔に出ない彼なので、こんなにわかりやすく喜んでくれた様子を見たのは初めてだった。普段は見せないような喜びもつい見せてしまうくらいのモノやコトを生み出すことができるようなデザインをしていきたいと思った。
時々、私たちは彼の誘いで一同に介するのだけれど、私が東京を離れてしまったために機会を設けることが難しくなってしまった。特に、頻繁にやりとりをするというわけではないが、人生の分岐点があるときは必ず彼がそばにいてくれたと思う。そんな彼との縁をこれからも大事にしたい。
